Announcing Bristol24/7’s social impact partnership with UWE Bristol
This year, we at Bristol24/7 have been building on the work we do as a Community Interest Company. A big part of this work is to invest in the people of Bristol and create opportunities for young people.
Working closely with local institutions is a natural step to help us achieve that aim, and we are extremely pleased to announce that our key social impact partner is UWE Bristol.

Their new social impact agenda, with an ambition to create opportunities for young people and nurture talent, matches UWE Bristol’s core purpose to inspire people and transform futures.

By working in partnership with Bristol24/7, we can help promote positive change across the city, open up new opportunities, champion a range of social impact initiatives and encourage others to get involved.”
UWE Bristol have been investing heavily in their campus and students of late
Over the next year, we’re going to be working closely with UWE Bristol on several campaigns and initiatives: from involvement in our annual student guide, to supporting our Autumn Feast and young chefs’ programme, to collaborative campaigns on city-wide issues, work experience opportunities and a summer film competition.
And, with 2018 named as National Year of Engineering, following the news of plans for a new engineering school at the Frenchay Campus, we will be announcing an exciting collaborative project in the new year.
Hear more about our partnership at the Autumn Feast where Professor Jane Roscoe, UWE Bristol’s executive dean of Arts, Creative Industries and Education Faculty will be speaking. Jane brings some impressive credentials to Bristol: previously director of London Film School, she has a strong commitment to brokering relationships across academia and industry.
