Beaver spotted near Bedminster Bridge
A beaver has been spotted in south Bristol.
The fluffy rodent was caught on camera in the shallows of the New Cut near Bedminster Bridge.
James David shared the video to the BS3 Wildlife Group.

He said that seeing the creature “took me by surprise, thought it was a dog when it was in the distance. Wasn’t expecting to see it there.
“Very fast flowing river so wondering whether it got washed down from all the rain.”

“Looks like a beaver with a tail like that! Definitely not an otter,” wrote Steve Potter on the Facebook group.
James replied: “Well yes. It is a beaver.”
