Bristol arts flash sale is back
Get inspired and soak up the rich variety of culture Bristol has to offer with reduced ticket prices at some of the city’s best venues.
A flash sale starts at 10am on Thursday, September 8 for shows at St George’s, M Shed, Watershed, Spike Island, Bristol Old Vic and Tobacco Factory Theatres.
Discounts are also on offer for the Bristol Biennial, Encounters Short Film & Animation Festival and Situations.
Flash sales are a regular feature in retail and for online companies, but relatively rare in the arts. This will be the fifth time Bristol’s cultural venues have come together.
Flash sale highlights include:
• St George’s offering 25 per cent off tickets for 15 performances
• 25 per cent off full-price tickets to five Encounters Festival events
• M Shed with half-price tickets to The Story of Children’s Television exhibition
• 30 per cent off The Rivals, The Grinning Man and The Snow Queen at Bristol Old Vic
• Watershed is offering 25 per cent discounts to films including Captain Fantastic, The Clan and The Blue Room
• £3 tickets to Novel Writers events at Spike Island
• Situations are offering a number of discounts on books via their online shop.
• Tobacco Factory Theatres discounts include Blue Heart and The Weir
• Learn how to create a performance for your pets with Bristol Biennial’s Workshop for Humans
