Bristol Charity Advent Calendar, day 12: Community of Purpose
Community of Purpose is a Keynsham-based non-profit.
Founders Amy and Joe Kington were raised in a very large family – their parents have been registered foster carers for over 40 years. After growing up seeing how community can help shape a child’s life, they decided to create Community of Purpose in 2016 to uplift young people across Bristol.
The non-profit, funded by donations from individuals and businesses, delivers a variety of social mobility projects that help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
