Bristol East: Kerry McCarthy holds for Labour
Bristol East has remained Labour despite a strong showing from the Tories.
Kerry McCarthy has been the MP for the constituency since 2005 and won this time by almost 4,000 votes.
“We need to wait until the dust settles to have long hard look at what went wrong,” McCarthy said about losses elsewhere after a disappointing election night for Labour.
