Bristol plays starring role in Doctor Who 60th anniversary trailer
Several Bristol locations feature in a new Doctor Who trailer which also reveals the episode titles for the 60th anniversary specials.
The trailer for the episodes due to be broadcast on BBC One in November was aired on Saturday evening ahead of the Eurovision Grand Final.
One scene shows David Tennant alongside Neil Patrick Harris, with the pair dancing on Clare Street in the Old City.

Catherine Tate also reprises her role as Donna Noble and can be seen in the trailer outside St Stephen’s Church.
Filming for Doctor Who took place in Bristol in June 2022.
Patrick Harris is thought to be playing the Celestial Toymaker, with Chez Marcel on Broad Street transformed into a toy shop called Mr Emporium.

The new trailer announced the three special episode titles as The Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder and The Giggle.
Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies said: “The titles are just the beginning of the Doctor’s biggest adventure yet. Autumn is coming, with three hours of danger, Donna and disaster about to be unleashed!”
Doctor Who will return in November with three special episodes with David Tennant as the 14th Doctor to coincide with the 60th anniversary.
Ncuti Gatwa’s first episode as the 15th Doctor will then air over the Christmas period, with Gatwa recently spotted filming scenes in Clifton.
