Bristol-spotting in ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Jul 2, 2024

One of the most hotly anticipated crime dramas of the year features Bristol prominently – but you have to be eagle-eyed to spot the locations.

All episodes of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, based on the multi-million selling novels by Holly Jackson, are now available on the BBC iPlayer as well as being broadcast on BBC Three.

The school featured in the series is Redmaids’ High School in Westbury-on-Trym where Jackson herself recently took part in a Q&A organised by Max Minerva’s and CrimeFest.

Where was A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder filmed?

A series of photos featuring Andie Bell, played by India Lillie Davies, and Salil Singh (Rahul Pattni) feature the pair posing in Bristol.

Look closely and you will be able to recognise the fountains in Millennium Square, the We The Curious planetarium, Za Za Bazaar and the Floating Harbour near Pero’s Bridge.

A later episode also features Redcliffe Caves where the show was filmed in July 2023.
