Bristol24/7 launches new film series sharing voices from across our city
Over the last six months we’ve been busy at Bristol24/7 HQ building on the work we do as a Community Interest Company. A big part of this work aims to inspire communities, celebrate Bristol’s diversity and provide a voice for all.
To help us achieve this, we are excited to launch a new film series sharing voices from across the city, in partnership with Tusko Films. Over the next few months, we will be releasing films that reflect on the weird and wonderful city that we live in.
“The films contain a great diversity of groups and people from across the city. Contributors talk about the ‘good, bad and the ugly’ of Bristol. It’s been a really fun and eye-opening project to work on,” says Jake J. Smith, Tusko’s co-founder.
is needed now More than ever
The first of the social media series focuses on diversity and what people like about Bristol.

We want to say a special thanks to all our contributors, who range from British Sign Language users, graffiti artists, Nordic walkers, young people, the business community, drag queens and more.
“This is the beginning of an exciting journey working with Tusko. We want to capitalise on the power of film, to inspire others and celebrate the independent voices that exist across the city. We look forward to sharing more films and perspectives with an even wider audience,” says Caragh Jones, Partnerships Manager at Bristol24/7.
Look out for the next film in the series, which focuses on the LGBT+ community and will feed into our Heritage Lottery Funded project, Talking LGBT+ Bristol.
In the meantime, check out the films and get involved. We want to know what you like about Bristol, what could be better about the city, and what makes Bristol, Bristol? Join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #VOICES247.
