New Bristol24/7 quarterly magazine published today
As we were saying yesterday…
That is what Spanish academic Miguel de Unamuno said to students as he returned to the University of Salamanca in 1930 after six years in exile.
It hasn’t quite been that long since a Bristol24/7 magazine but it does feel like we have never been away.
is needed now More than ever
So, we are thrilled to return to print after the slight inconvenience of a global pandemic with issue 69 and cover star Jayde Adams.

“There’s no art without failure” Jayde Adams is our cover star for issue 69 of the Bristol24/7 magazine
Post-Covid, Bristol24/7 has survived by pivoting our business model to online only. We have now stabilised enough to be able to bring back our magazine – this time quarterly rather than monthly – that you will be able to pick up for free across the city.
In the magazine, you’ll find old favourites like 10 Questions from readers, a blind date and breakfast with a fascinating interviewee, as well as long-read features, culture, food & drink and much more.
There are also some new additions such as a packed sports section, an exclusive food & drink column from the Secret Barista and a podcast feature.
It’s testament to the hard work of all of our team that Bristol24/7 has not simply survived as a digital- first publication but thrived. But we can only continue thanks to the support of our members.
Thank you to everyone who already supports the work that we do, supporting independent journalism and getting a few brilliant perks as well.
Bristol24/7 members receive this magazine in the post as part of their membership, which costs just £5 a month. So please, if you can, support local independent journalism.
We are also hosting a party at Ashton Court Mansion on Friday to celebrate the launch of the magazine. You can buy a ticket here.
The next Bristol24/7 quarterly magazine will be published in the summer. In the meantime, look out for our annual food & drink guide, EatDrink24/7, as well as all the breaking news, in-depth features, and latest culture stories on our website.
