Cannabis factory discovered on Whiteladies Road

A cannabis factory in Clifton was found to contain 200 plants worth more than £100,000.

The drugs were seized by police from the building above Costa on Whiteladies Road, with police officers visible on both the first and second floor.

Police dressed in protective clothing could also be seen taking items to a van parked outside:

Police arrived on Wednesday at about 10.20pm and spent most of Thursday continuing to search the property.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of production of a controlled drug.
