Car driver rescued from floodwater
A driver has been rescued after their car became stranded in floodwater.
A team from Bedminster fire station attended the incident and used a dinghy to rescue the stricken driver.
The car became half-submerged on Yanley Road in Long Ashton on Thursday morning.

In a tweet, Bedminster AFRS wrote: “Our Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technicians rescued a driver from this stranded car this morning.
“After securing the casualty, we used our inflatable equipment to retrieve the individual to dry land.”
