Car salvaged from Feeder Canal after 15 years

By Bristol24/7  Friday May 19, 2017

A car that had been languishing at the bottom of the Feeder Canal for more than 15 years has finally been recovered.

The vehicle was taken out of the water just upstream of Netham Lock in a salvage operation undertaken by the Harbour Master’s team and Avon & Somerset police.

It was then transported to Underfall Yard, where as these photographs show it was unceremoniously loaded onto a flatbed truck.
