Cathedral bells ring out for Cathedral School
Bristol Cathedral bells rang out on Friday afternoon to celebrate Bristol Cathedral Choir School’s outstanding Ofsted report.
A team of eight bell-ringers gathered in the north-west tower for their specially arranged afternoon session, where they rang Stedman triples – a 17th-century method of bellringing – for 30 minutes as pupils were leaving school.
School principal Neil Blundell said: “This report is testament to a great deal of hard work on the part of my colleagues and our students over the seven-and-a-half years since the school became an academy.
