Concorde Way reopening coincides with Ashley Down station opening
Among the celebrations of the Ashley Down station opening, the reopening of the section of Concorde Way that runs alongside the railway line could easily be forgotten.
On Friday, local residents were stuck behind fencing while dignitaries enjoyed a ribbon cutting ceremony and commemorative cake.
But from Saturday morning, these same residents will not just be able to catch a train; they will also be able to use Concorde Way between Muller Road and St Werburgh’s for the first time since March 2023 when it was closed to allow the station to be built.
is needed now More than ever
