Fallen tree cleared in park

A large tree toppled in Storm Darragh has been removed from a park in Bristol.

The tree had fallen across the two main paths through Redland Green with some of it landing in the neighbouring Metford Road Allotments.

Arborists from Gristwood & Toms were in the park on Monday clearing away the tree as people cautiously made their way around the blockage via a muddy bank.

Trees had also fallen across paths in Stoke Park.

And larger trees had been toppled during the storm in some of the wooded areas including Barn Wood.
