Fire breaks out in building on the Triangle
Police tape remains around the fire ravaged building that is home to Forbidden Planet after a blaze broke out on Monday evening.
The road was closed through the night and into Tuesday morning as firefighters battled the flames inside the first floor of the Clifton Heights property on the Triangle.
Police and ambulance crews were also at the scene of the blaze that saw smoke pouring out of the first and second storey windows.

Avon Fire & Rescue Service teams say there were no casualties and that the cause of the fire is currently unknown, pending an investigation.

Fire crews were called to reports of a fire in the building at 7.14pm on Monday nights.
The fire service said: “The fire was affecting the first and second floor with smoke rising to the roof space. At its height, there were 17 fire engines and other vehicles at the scene.
“With 11 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, crews used multiple 45mm jets and hose reels with a turntable ladder to extinguish the fire. Crews also used thermal imaging cameras and gas monitors to check for hotspots. Also in use were positive pressure ventilation fans for smoke clearance and small tools for access.
“There were no casualties and the cause of the incident is unknown awaiting fire investigation.”

Avon & Somerset Police said: “We were made aware of a fire at a building on Triangle West shortly before 7.15pm yesterday (Monday 4 December) and subsequently assisted the fire service with road closures.
“Officers remain at the scene this morning while the building is secured. A cordon is currently in place pending fire investigation.”
The emergency response was scaled back just after 10pm on Monday night but crews police remained at the scene on Tuesday morning, with a partial road closure in place.
