First look inside new bowling alley Lane 7 opening in Bristol city centre
Lane 7 promises to be a new “concept bowling alley” when it opens on Monday as lockdown restrictions ease across the UK.
Alongside the tenpin bowling lanes are a variety of other games including darts, shuffleboard and beer pong, and one of Bristol’s biggest big screens showing live sport.
Food will be provided by Burger Theory and their new sister offering, Sesame Kitchen, which will serve Asian-inspired tapas.

The 700-capacity Lane 7 on Millennium Promenade is the first Lane 7 in the south of England.
Tim Wilks opened the first Lane 7 in 2013 when he transformed a warehouse in Newcastle into an upmarket bowling alley and late night venue.
He has since launched similar concepts in Middlesbrough, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Leicester, Birmingham and now Bristol.

Wilks said: “Bristol is independent, rebellious and unique – just like Lane 7
“I think it’s my disruptive business mentality that connects with the culture I’ve experienced in Bristol, and ultimately why I instinctively knew this was the place to open my next location.
“The people of Bristol need their fun to be inspired. With Lane 7’s philosophy of ‘built just for you’ we are going to work hard to provide the venue that Bristol wants.”
