Flash sale across city’s cultural venues

By Bristol24/7  Tuesday Jan 12, 2016

Some of the city’s biggest music, theatre and art venues have teamed up to offer discounted tickets in a flash sale from 10am on Friday, January 15.

Bargain-hunters can save big on performances and exhibitions at venues such as St George’s, the Colston Hall, the Arnolfini, Tobacco Factory Theatres and Bristol Old Vic, as well as paying heavily-reduced prices to see films currently showing at the Watershed.

It’s the third time the city’s cultural venues have stimulated ticket sales during a traditionally slow month with a flash sale, which is often used in retail but is still relatively rare in the arts.

The sale comes at a time when many are pinching the pennies after an indulgent festive period, and aims to encourage the people of Bristol to get back out and enjoying themselves without worrying about the cost.
