Horfield by-election candidates confirmed
Five candidates will contest a by-election in Horfield on the same day as the general election.
The by-election on July 4 is taking place after Deborah Vittori, one of the victorious Labour candidates in May’s local elections, was disqualified due to being a teacher employed by Bristol City Council.
Teachers are allowed to become councillors but not at local authorities in which they hold paid positions in a council-run school.
