Dominic Borel said “We hope this challenge will inspire other people to attempt something like this.
“It’s really important to raise money for a charity in our hometown tackling the issue of homelessness and to use our platforms to shine a light on this cause.”
Toby Gritten said “The people Caring in Bristol support are really vulnerable – they’re not just homeless people but also people who are living vulnerably and facing homelessness.
“The charity aims to solve the problem before it actually becomes a problem and support people with food, shelter and other resources.”
Donations can be made on Just Giving and raffle tickets to win a selection of restaurant visits, hotel stays, days out and more can be purchased here.
Plans are in motion for an event outside the Pump House on October 7, featuring creations from the chefs involved, all in the spirit of raising additional funds. More events are planned for following the team’s triumphant return from their incredible journey.
