Hundreds of hearts painted on Queen Square
Individually painted by a team of artists from Upfest, hundreds of hearts will be appearing within some of Bristol’s most well-known green space.
The first are now in Queen Square, with others due to be painted in College Green and Castle Park.
It’s part of a new initiative called Bristol Together which aims to encourage workers, shoppers and residents to stay safe while also visiting the city centre to support businesses.
is needed now More than ever
Bristol Together is led by Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) alongside Visit Bristol, Business West and Broadmead BID, in partnership with the One City Economy Board and Bristol City Council.
Bristol City Centre BID operations director, Keith Rundle, said: “We wanted to remind everyone that we have amazing green spaces right in the heart of the city which makes it the perfect place to meet outdoors while also supporting the city’s economy.
“We’re inviting Bristol to work together to help us recover quickly from the effects of lockdown, but also to help protect each other while still enjoying what our city has to offer.
