Improving mental health through pies
Pieminister is supporting mental health through the launch of a fundraising pie feast.
It is part of the business’ summer campaign to support Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a suicide prevention charity.
Leading the movement of suicide prevention as well as provoking national conversation, CALM aims to bring people together and empower them to reject living miserably.
is needed now More than ever
Pieminister has kicked off their summer campaign with a fundraising pie feast called ‘It’s All Gravy’ – consisting of a pie, fries, cheddar cheese, crispy onions and bottomless gravy. There is also a vegan alternative which is a plant-based pie with the cheddar swapped for vegan cheese.

£1 from every pie sold will directly support CALM. 20p from every sale of Pieminister’s 5% lager will also go to the charity.
Jon Simon, Pieminister co-founder and director, said: “At a time when many of us are struggling with life’s challenges in one way or another we’re really pleased to be partnering with CALM.
“While raising thousands to fund their vital work, we’ll also use every platform we have to tell as many people as possible that CALM is there for them, should they need it.”
CALM has a free, confidential, helpline which answered over 157,000 calls and chats from people struggling last year. Their phone number is 0800 58 58 58 or can be contacted via their webchat. Trained support workers are available from 5pm to midnight, all year round.
