Jayde Adams: Strictly is ‘the best thing I have ever done in my life’
Jayde Adams and Karen Hauer have become the fourth couple to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2022 following a BBC centenary special.
The pair had danced the Charleston to The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) by Victoria Wood but, after the dance-off, the judges unanimously saved Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.
So it’s the end of the road on Strictly for the multi-talented Bristol performer, who will be returning to our screens soon in ITV2 show Ruby Speaking, BBC drama Alma’s Not Normal as well as a UK stand-up tour and a role in a Take That jukebox movie.

Jayde told Tess Daley on Sunday evening: “This has been the best thing I have ever done in my life and I will carry it to my grave, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you (Karen) and learning about so much that will go into my own stuff, in my own work. You are one of the most gifted people I have ever worked with, Karen.”
Karen added: “It’s been a roller-coaster of emotions for us, and you are so special, so powerful, so emotional, and I’ve loved every second. Thank you, Jayde.”
Here is Jayde and Karen’s last dance:
In previous weeks, Jayde and Karen had danced the American smooth, the cha cha cha, the tango and the samba:
