Large police presence at Turbo Island
Avon & Somerset Police cannot explain why numerous police cars gathered next to Turbo Island.
Five police cars lined up on Jamaica Street on Monday morning.
But a police spokesperson was unable to provide a reason for the presence of the officers at the scene and was also unable to confirm any incident that had taken place.

Sharing a video of the police cars, one person on Instagram joked that it was the “Turbo Island Police Xmas Party”.
In October, Turbo Island was sold to a mystery buyer for £100,000 hours before an auction of the corner plot on Stokes Croft was due to take place.
In a desperate attempt to prevent the land from being developed, campaigners submitted a planning application in November for the space to gain village green status.
