Lord mayor Andrew Varney attended the sending off of the most recent consignment of 32 generators from Bristol International Centre for Ukraine on Greystoke Avenue in Southmead.
From Bristol with Love for Ukraine volunteer, Ann Kennard, said: “All but a handful of the thermal and hydro power plants across the country are either badly damaged or totally destroyed.
“This means that large sections of the population are without water or electricity.
“Now is the time to redouble our efforts to mitigate the effects of the cynical Russian destruction.
“Please remember Ukraine in her hour of need. Ukraine cannot be left to suffer alone.”
