Local election candidates confirmed

The General Election on May 7 may be taking up most of the coverage but on the same day 24 wards in Bristol will also be voting in new local councillors. The quirk of this year’s local elections is that these new councillors will only be in office for one year, as in 2016 local elections in Bristol will change from ‘elections by thirds’ to whole council elections.
