Art installations at Love Saves the Day to help Bristol’s homeless
Love Saves the Day has teamed up with Help Bristol’s Homeless to raise awareness and money for the city’s rough sleepers.
Local artists are working on six large pieces that will be displayed on shipping containers at the two-day festival, as well as designing prints that will be on sale throughout the weekend, with all proceeds going to the charity.

Representatives from Help Bristol’s Homeless will be present at the event, engaging with festival-goers and hoping to attract volunteers.
is needed now More than ever
The charity, launched early last year, aims to break the cycle of homelessness by creating temporary accommodation out of converted shipping containers, one of which will be on display at the festival.

“Homelessness in Bristol is out of control; I have a studio in the centre of town and you really notice it,” said Richt, one of the artists involved.
“I think this project is about raising awareness. You can’t presume you’re going to save anybody, I only hope that this makes young people more conscious of the problem, and the festival is the perfect place to reach them.”

Another of the graffiti artists, known as 45RPM, aims to “create a peace over war message” with his piece. He said: “the sun’s out, it’s a festival, and this should be something everyone can look at and smile.
“Bristol is a positive city, so it’s about trying to be positive, and helping those who need it.”
