Man dies following incident at Bristol city centre car park
A man has died at a car park in central Bristol on Wednesday morning, police have confirmed.
Officers from Avon and Somerset Police were called to Rupert Street at 2:45 am on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services soon arrived at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead shortly after.

Forensics and police officers could be seen at the scene on Wednesday morning towards midday.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
NCP car park on Rupert Street has been closed until further notice.
A spokesperson for the police said: “At around 2.45am today a man was found seriously injured on Rupert Street, Bristol.
“Emergency services attended but sadly, he died a short time later.
“We’re currently in the process of identifying the man so we can inform his next of kin as a priority.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious, however, a cordon remains in place and the nearby NCP car park is closed while enquiries are carried out to establish what happened.”
