New art gallery to open in Cabot Circus
World renowned retail art gallery chain Castle Fine Art is to open a new branch in Bristol this weekend, cementing the city’s position as an artistic hub.
Having previously been located in Cribbs Causeway, the new premises are close to Harvey Nichols in Cabot Circus.
Ian Weatherby-Blythe, the group managing director of Castle Fine Art, is confident that the move will emphasise Bristol’s strong artistic tradition.

“With Bristol’s vibrant art scene and flourishing business community, we knew opening a new gallery in the city had to be the next step in our expansion,” he said.
This is seconded by Kym Cox, the new gallery’s manager, who said: “The larger space will allow us to house even more work by some of the best artists in the industry and the impressive layout and design will make for a fantastic experience for visitors and staff alike.”
With work on offer ranging from renowned artist Robert Oxley, to limited edition prints by the legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, the new branch of Castle Fine Art is a showcase for some of the world’s most exclusive contemporary art.
As a retail gallery, Castle Fine Art also provides Bristolians who have the cash an opportunity to do more than admire the artwork from a distance. Bob Dylan’s limited edition signed graphics are available for upwards of £10,000.
At a more affordable end of the scale, prints from acclaimed artist Scarlett Raven can be bought for upwards of £195.
Castle Fine Art is a member of the prestigious Halycon Group, who also maintain galleries in New Bond Street, Harrods and internationally in Shanghai.
