New bleed kit installed at Memorial Stadium
A bleed kit donated by the charity Rapid Relief Team has been installed at the Memorial Stadium.
The kit provides immediate assistance in the event of catastrophic bleeds including after trauma-related injuries and knife-related incidents.
It is just one of ten kits that RRT has donated across Bristol in partnership with Avon & Somerset police.
is needed now More than ever
Bristol Rovers Community Trust CEO, Adam Tutton, said: “Having bleed kits readily available in our community is crucial.
“They are not just for knife-related injuries but can be used in any situation where there is a catastrophic bleed.
“This initiative by RRT and Avon & Somerset Police is a vital step in ensuring that our community is prepared to handle such emergencies effectively.”
RRT volunteer, Roland Coldrick, added: “Inspired by community spirit and the gift of giving, the RRT, made up of volunteers from the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, puts compassion into action by offering practical support to charities, emergency services and other organisations in their time of need.”
