Ship fire breaks out in Avonmouth
A reported ship fire has broken out at the Royal Edward Dock in Avonmouth.
More than 50 firefighters have been brought in to bring the situation under control. .
The dock is the largest and northernmost of the three docks that form the port of Bristol.

A spokesperson from Avon Fire and Rescue Services said:
“We were called at 11.47am to a fire on a ship at the Royal Edward Dock in Avonmouth.
“We currently have 11 fire engines, specialist appliances and approximately 60 firefighters on the scene tackling the fire.
“Thankfully, no one has been injured.”
Fire engines continue to remain on the scene.
People are advised to avoid the area while travelling.
