Overflow warehouse for refugee donations
Refugee crisis relief groups in Bristol have begun organising donations into a massive new warehouse after drop-off points were inundated over the weekend.
All five drop-off points opened last week by volunteers across the city were declared full by Saturday morning.
An urgent appeal for larger storage space was met by Hengrove company Phineas Products who freed up a warehouse to Calais Refugee Solidarity Bristol, which has been coordinating a city-wide response.

The group took to Twitter on Sunday to say they were “thrilled” with the hard work of volunteers which has led to securing the venue.
More space was due to be made available at drop-off points on Monday as volunteers relocated donations to the new warehouse.
But Calais Refugee Solidarity Bristol was still appealing for drivers able to help with the effort on Monday morning.
