Pokémon & Aardman team up for 2027

In 2027, you’ll be able to catch em’ all in this exciting upcoming collaboration between animation giants The Pokémon Company International and Aardman.

In an announcement they revealed a special project coming to audiences in 2027, but no word on what that might look like yet, although speculation around a feature film is circulating due to their each having ongoing deals with Netflix.

The collaboration will see Aardman bringing its unique style of storytelling to the Pokémon universe in brand-new adventures.

Taito Okiura, vice president of marketing and media at The Pokémon Company International, commented, “This is a dream partnership for Pokémon.

“Aardman are masters of their craft, and we have been blown away by their talent and creativity. What we have been working on together ensures our global Pokémon fans are in for a treat!”

The announcement on Aardman’s instagram has already garnered 29,000 likes and 344 comments, with fans expressing their absolute delight

Aardman are currently teasing their third installation of the Wallace & Gromit franchise, with Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl arriving on Netflix from January 3 and BBC in the UK on Christmas Day.
