Remembering the children killed in Gaza
Names of some of the thousands of children killed in Gaza have been written on banners in Bristol.
A ‘Naming the Dead’ event took place on College Green with a number of banners laid out on which people could write the names of children who have died in the ongoing conflict.
The event organised by groups including Bristol Palestine Alliance and the Hands Up Project also saw laments being sung for the young victims of the war.

Names of Palestinian children will continue to be written in different public places, with the banners returning to College Green on Wednesday.
They will be displayed outside City Hall from 4pm ahead of a rally due to start at 5pm to coincide with a House of Commons motion calling for an “immediate bilateral ceasefire” in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
