Suspension Bridge reopens as manhunt continues for suspect
The Clifton Suspension Bridge has reopened after being closed following human remains being left in suitcases.
A manhunt is underway which has seen the hunt take place by police from helicopters in the air, by the coastguard on the River Avon and by officers on foot.
They are searching for a man who arrived at the bridge by taxi late on Wednesday evening before leaving the two suitcases.

Photos released by the police appear to have been taken by someone who pursued the suspect down Burwalls Road towards Rownham Hill on the Leigh Woods side of the bridge.
The public have been advised not to approach the man but to phone 999.

He is described as Black, with a beard, wearing a black Adidas baseball cap, black jeans, a black jacket, black trainers with thick white soles and wearing a black backpack.
The bridge reopened late on Thursday evening, with access to all motor vehicles but only one footway open for use by pedestrians due to maintenance work.
