By Martin Booth  Friday Jul 12, 2024

The Clifton Suspension Bridge has reopened after being closed following human remains being left in suitcases.

A manhunt is underway which has seen the hunt take place by police from helicopters in the air, by the coastguard on the River Avon and by officers on foot.

They are searching for a man who arrived at the bridge by taxi late on Wednesday evening before leaving the two suitcases.
