The new independent media studio set to open in Bristol
Gloucester Road Studios is the brand new independent media studio coming out of the pandemic, ready to work for the rise and growth of Bristol’s film industry.
Located just off Gloucester Road, the new studio aims to embrace the Bristol film community and assist creatives with their multimedia production endeavours.
Liam McDonagh has played a key part in developing Gloucester Road Studios through the Kickstart Scheme, which he began after he graduated amid the pandemic with zero opportunities.
is needed now More than ever
“I studied sound engineering in Bristol and graduated in 2020 as the pandemic struck. As a result of this, I was in limbo as creative industries were stagnant,” says Liam.
The Bristol film industry is rapidly expanding and this new studio is excited to be a part of the growth.
Founder, Jamie Smith, said he was “bored of waiting around, wondering when events were going to come back. It’s been hard keeping things moving at times, but I’m so happy to see the final pieces coming together and announce the launch.”
Doors will be opening in February, where for the whole month bookings will be half price.
