Mason, 15 and Max, 16 died in hospital after they were stabbed on Ilminster Avenue in Knowle West, late on Saturday evening.

So far, eight people have been arrested in connection with the murder, a 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder, who has since been bailed with conditions, including to not enter Bristol, a 22-year-old man and a 44-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder who both remain in custody, and a 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender who remains in custody.

A 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He has been released with no further action in relation to the murder offence and bailed in relation to the offensive weapon offence.

The double murder has left the south Bristol community in shock, and a major police investigation is still underway across the area.
