By Martin Booth  Friday Feb 2, 2024

Two boys aged 15 and 16 have been charged with the murders of Mason Rist and Max Dixon, who were also aged 15 and 16 when they were killed in Knowle West on Saturday.

The pair, who have not been named because they are under 18, will appear at Bristol Youth Court sitting at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Two men have also been charged with assisting an offender. Bailey Westcott, 22, of Bishopsworth, and Jamie Ogbourne, 26, of Hartcliffe, will also appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

It comes as Antony Snook, 44, of Dowling Road in Hartcliffe, appeared in front of magistrates on Thursday and was remanded in custody. Snook will attend a further hearing at Bristol Crown Court on Friday.

Avon & Somerset detective superintendent Gary Haskins said: “Specialist officers are providing support to Mason’s and Max’s families and our thoughts remain with them… following this significant development.”
