Vigil planned after fatal stabbing of 19-year-old in St Paul’s
A vigil has been organised to remember victims of knife crime after a teenager tragically died at the weekend.
Heartfelt tributes have flooded social media for the 19-year-old who has not yet been named by police.
A forensic post-mortem examination on Saturday established the cause of death as knife wounds.

On Tuesday at 1pm,, there will be an opportunity tomorrow to pay respects on the green in St Paul’s.
Avon and Somerset Police said the investigation, which is still in its early stages, is now being led by the specialist Major Crime Investigation Team.
The young man was found with injuries on Grosvenor Road just after 11pm on Friday. He went to hospital by ambulance but could not be saved.
The formal identification process has not yet happened, but police believe the victim to be a 19-year-old man from St Paul’s. Specially-trained family liaison officers are supporting the family.
A teenager arrested near the scene on Friday night has now been eliminated from the murder investigation.
He has been charged with an unrelated offence of possessing an offensive weapon and remains in custody ahead of a court appearance.

A spokesperson from Avon & Somerset Police said: “There will be an increased police presence in St Paul’s as the investigation continues.
“Our neighbourhood teams will be carrying out uniformed patrols as a contact point for the community.
“We’re still in the early stages of our enquiries and are exploring all avenues of investigation. We still need any information the community can give.”
