What is your favourite Bristol landmark?

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Apr 29, 2020

Cabot Tower or Wills Memorial Building? Bristol Cathedral or St Mary Redcliffe Church?

These and other much-loved corners of our city are competing against one another in the inaugural World Cup of Bristol Landmarks.

Organised by Visit Bristol, the competition’s quarter-final starts via Twitter on Wednesday.

The other two quarter-final lineups are the “colourful contest” between the painted houses of Cliftonwood and Banksy’s Mild Mild West mural on Stokes Croft; and the “Brunel bout” between Temple Meads and the Clifton Suspension Bridge (what, no SS Great Britain? – ed).

Voting is open between midday and 4pm.
