When and where the Coca-Cola Christmas truck is visiting Bristol
It’s been a tradition since 1995 when the illuminated red truck first appeared in Coca-Cola’s famous “holidays are coming” advert.
Two decades later, Coca-Cola’s Christmas truck is set to make a visit to our city.
The US soft drinks giant – which has toured its festive vehicle around the UK for two nearly decades- will stop in Bristol on Saturday.
is needed now More than ever
The tour is part of its ‘The Magic of Giving’ Christmas campaign and will see the promotional truck visit the Mall at Cribbs Causeway from 11.30am. Adorned with a SANTA 1 number plate, it also sports bright lights along the length of its cab and trailer.
It is joined by a winter market setting with activities, festive food huts serving up seasonal treats, an ‘elfie selfie’ photo opportunity and the chance to buy a personalised Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Coca-Cola Original Taste.
Supporting charity FareShare, each visit to the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck’s winter wonderland will help to support people experiencing food poverty. The company is donating the equivalent of a meal on behalf of every person that attends the tour this festive period.
Lindsay Boswell, CEO at FareShare, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste, said: “We’re incredibly grateful for the support from Coca-Cola. Their donation will help us get more good-to-eat surplus food to people across the UK impacted by the cost of living crisis.
“We hope as many people visit the Coca-Cola Truck Tour this Christmas so that we can get more food to people who need it during what are challenging times for many.”
