Woman riding e-scooter in life-threatening condition after collision with car

A woman in her 20s has sustained a head injury after the Voi e-scooter she was riding collided with a car.

The incident happened on Temple Gate near Temple Meads at around 8.20pm on Wednesday.

The woman was taken to the BRI before being transferred to Southmead Hospital, where she remains in a life-threatening condition.

Witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage of the collision are being asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference number 5222258290.
