Here are Mabby’s top-five Bristol favourites:
Millennium Square and At-Bristol
is needed now More than ever

The At-Bristol ice rink on Millennium Square
“I’m fortunate enough to say that I love what I do at work and in my career choices. I’ve spent most of my teenagehood in the centre of Bristol. Millennium square and At-Bristol symbolise a huge chunk of my life that holds some of my happiest memories. From falling down multiple times on the ice rink. to the evening drinks after work with my colleagues.”
Snuff Mills

“Snuff Mills is a real gem that I stumbled upon about four years ago, Myself and some friends followed the river path from Oldbury Court and found ourselves in the quaint and idyllic Snuff Mills. It was so unexpected and adorable that it made the two-hour walk worth it! Yes, we took a detour.”
Victoria Rooms and fountains
“Moving to an extremely quiet town for uni really hit home how much I love the craziness of a big city. For my foundation year at Bristol School of Art, I would go and sit on the steps of the Victoria Rooms and watch the hustle and bustle of the big city I call home, casually watching the office workers grabbing a glimpse of sunshine and the cars looping round the roundabout from the safety of the murky green fountains. Bliss!”
Hot air balloons
“Fishponds would always have balloons flying around and in particular during summer. As a child I would always wonder where all the balloons would come from and why there were so many. It was only in 2015 that I got to experience first hand the best thing Bristol has to offer, the Balloon Fiesta! Now I think of Bristol whenever I see a hot air balloon anywhere else.”
Bristol at night

“The best views are from Brandon Hill or the Downs, but also near my house from a hill next to an old hospital. Bristol at night is beautiful. There’s something so calming about the golden lights and the city still ticking away that I will always find satisfying.”
