My Bristol Favourites: Polly Meech
Polly Meech runs Loop Massage at Cargo 2 in Wapping Wharf and this weekend is launching The Other Space next door to Loop, offering treatments that compliment massage like a nail bar offering natural treatments, evening classes and pop-up events.
These are Polly’s top-five Bristol favourites:
Alderman Moore’s Allotments
is needed now More than ever
“Living in a flat means having a patch of land to get muddy on is a must. At Alderman Moore’s Allotments, we have the perfect Bristol view for balloon watching.”
Tobacco Factory Theatres
“The Tobacco Factory Theatre is such an intimate way to see theatre. They always have a varied programme. I cannot wait to see Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory’s Henry V in September.”
Albatross Cafe
“Albatross Cafe on North Street is the perfect place to hunker down with a book. The ricotta crumpets are amazing and they stock Pearly King Cakes as an added bonus. Their hand-thrown ceramics are also a highlight.”
Bar Buvette
“I’m incredibly late to the party but I went to Bar Buvette recently and can image this becoming a regular haunt. I walked in and automatically felt at home.”
Wapping Wharf
“Wapping Wharf and Cargo is obviously somewhere I spend a great deal of time. It has become such a hub for socialising as well as well as work, and I have never had a bad meal. All my favourite things are covered, including yoga, plants and cheese. Margaritas at Cargo Cantina after a long day also makes everything okay.”
