These are Harry’s top-five Bristol favourites:

Lloyds Amphitheatre

“What’s not to love about the Amphitheatre? Not only is it our main stage for the Bristol Harbour Festival, but it hosts so many great events throughout the year because it’s such an incredible space. Bristol Sounds recently took over the Amphitheatre with seven nights of live music, and now we get to bring the space to life again with our programme, which has been curated with Greenpeace and Global Local. It’s a special place with so much energy. I love it!”

M Shed

M Shed is a brilliant spot to soak up Bristol’s history and culture. Every time I visit, I learn something new about this brilliant city. From its maritime roots, industrial achievements and significant moments, the exhibits are thoughtfully curated. It’s not just a museum, it’s a place that celebrates Bristol’s past and also inspires the future. Plus it has some of the best views of the harbourside!”

Wapping Wharf

“What I love about Bristol is its loyalty to independent businesses and to its outstanding food scene. Wapping Wharf is a true testament to the spirit of the city. It’s such a vibrant area, and whenever I go, it’s always a great place to sit back and soak up the local atmosphere. I’ve had some of the best fish and chips there at Salt & Malt. And Seven Lucky Gods is also an absolute favourite of mine. It never disappoints.”

Wake The Tiger

“I’ve honestly never experienced anything quite like Wake The Tiger. The creativity and imagination is just out of this world. It’s the perfect place to let out your inner child. Get lost, explore, discover secret passageways and go down a giant slide? What’s not to love!”

Park Street

Park Street has historically been one of Bristol’s most prestigious shopping destinations – photo: Martin Booth

“There’s always so much happening on Park Street. It’s such an eclectic spot with so many unique independent food spots and local traders. The view down the street when you’re at the top is pretty special and the mix of cosy cafes, bars and boutiques has made Park Street a favourite of mine. The architecture, the green spaces, the view overlooking the city – it’s a must.”
