Kumono

“Kumono is a wonderful little independent Japanese shop on King’s Road in the heart of Clifton Village, with the best matcha bar in Bristol. They serve incredible high quality premium matcha. My own particular favourite is the rose matcha. Sublime!”
Ashton Court

“I love walking around here. I go at least once a week. As a country girl, it makes me feel so at home surrounded by the woodlands, gorgeous fields, wild flowers and adorable deer. There’s nothing better to me than reading in the total peace and quiet of nature.”
Interlude

“Interlude on St Michael’s Hill, run by the very wonderful Laurence and Chloe, is my favourite coffee shop in Bristol. Excellent coffee and seriously scrumptious ‘Picky Bits’ events from Chloe. The best vibes and the perfect neighbourhood coffee shop.”
Panunzio’s Kitchen

“If you want authentic high quality gelato, then this is the only place for you! I’ve been a big supporter of Daniele since he opened Panunzio’s on Cotham Hill. I call him the Willy Wonka of gelato because he’s a genius at creating such unique flavours. My favourites have been papaya (so creamy!) and the blue cheese, which is absolutely bonkers but it works!
The Bowl Shed

Bowl Shed is a superfood bar specialising in acai and smoothie bowls – photo: Cristina Pinuaga
“The acai bowls are my favourite thing to eat in summer. The Bowl Shed in Clifton Down Shopping Centre is proper feel good food! This is also literally the only thing I can fuel my body with when I’m swamped with my own pop-ups. It’s light on the stomach but filled with tonnes of good nutrients to keep you happy and heathy.”
