The final is one of several big events this year that is ensuring the Flyers soar higher than ever before.
This year marks the club’s 20th anniversary season, with head coach, Andreas Kapoulas, leading them loyally since 2005.
Andreas expressed that the key to his success over the past two decades is due to a strong vision and focus.
He added: “I think we had some incredible players that have been able to stay with us throughout the years.
“The incredible support that we have from our volunteers builds up that club environment and culture that is so important to be able to build on and off the court.”
In this time, the team has progressed from the lowest division of national league basketball to the top flight. They are also competing in the European North Basketball League.
A new 5,000 capacity stadium in Ashton Gate Sport Centre for the club has been approved, with construction starting later in 2025.

Talking about the team’s relationship, he said: “I think the team, that’s where a lot of the fun, passion and enjoyment comes in, both on and off the court.
“The family feels comes from the volunteers primarily, and just the fans and the wider club outside of the pro setup, everyone’s quite caring.”
Corey said he’s feeling mainly confident about the game explaining: “I don’t have any nerves yet. I’m sure on the day when we’re in front of 10,000 people, some nerves will turn up, but that’s not a bad thing.”

A win on Sunday would be amazing for the Flyers, as he added: “It’s hard to put into words but I guess what I can say is winning something in Bristol and taking a trophy, has been top priority for me.
“It’s something I’ve wanted to achieve while being here, and something I definitely need to do before I hang up my boots.
“It has always been about inspiring communities, about making Bristol proud, to be able to bring the trophy back to Bristol.
“It’s going to be an incredible moment for everyone. It would just mean so much.”
Flyers player Owen McCormack, from North Carolina, added his thoughts on a win: “I think it’ll be a complete boost to us. I think we’ve been finding our stride amongst a few lulls in the season, but the game is a great opportunity for us as a team.”
