Cricket World Cup trophy comes to Bristol

By Martin Booth  Saturday May 4, 2019

Before the Cricket World Cup comes to Bristol, the trophy made a visit to Broadmead on Saturday.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan joined in the fun, commentating on a few games of cricket inside a giant net alongside former Pakistan captain and current Somerset overseas player Azhar Ali.

As well as the games, there was music provided by BBC Asian Network DJ Bobby Friction and the chance to pose for photographs with the trophy.
