Abi Harrison becomes Bristol City’s all-time leading goalscorer

By Martin Booth  Monday Mar 14, 2022

History was made at the Robins High Performance Centre in Failand on Sunday as Abi Harrison scored in Bristol City’s 3-1 win against Watford.

The goal was the Scottish striker’s 23rd for the club, making her City Women’s all-time leading goalscorer.

“I’m happy but I’m not stopping there, there’s hopefully plenty more to come,” Harrison told Bristol City’s YouTube channel after the game.

City’s first two goals against Watford were scored by Chloe Bull, with Rosie Kmita pulling one back for the Hornets before Harrison’s record-breaking strike.

The fifth consecutive win for Lauren Smith’s team comes ahead of their game against table-topping Liverpool at Ashton Gate on April 3.
