Gas Girls reveal new shirt in collaboration with St Peter’s Hospice
Bristol Rovers Women’s players became mannequins in a shop window as they unveiled a special kit.
The front of the Gas Girls’ new away shirt for the upcoming season has been donated to St Peter’s Hospice, with seven teammates helping to launch the collaboration at the newest St Peter’s Hospice shop on Whiteladies Road.
The players posed in a variety of positions in the shop window, waved to a passing tourist bus and were also joined briefly by Rovers men’s team captain Sam Finley who tried on the pink shirt for size.

The link with St Peter’s Hospice is the latest charity partnership for the club – an initiative of the Bristol Rovers Community Trust – which has also previously featured organisations including Her Game Too and St Paul’s Carnival.
The hospice is close to the heart of Gas Girls chairman and Community Trust chief executive Adam Tutton, whose wife was cared for at the hospice for more than six months before sadly losing her battle against cancer.

Speaking at the unveiling of the new shirt, Tutton said that he and the club are “very honoured” to be able to support St Peter’s Hospice.
“St Peter’s Hospice is a charity very close to my own heart. My wife and my family received fantastic support when she was an in-patient at St Peter’s Hospice.
“I am very honoured that we can support and try to raise awareness of the fantastic work that the charity does across Bristol.”

St Peter’s Hospice philanthropy & partnerships manager, Ben Lee, added: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with Bristol Rovers Women’s FC.
The sight of the St Peter’s Hospice logo gracing the front of the women’s away kit for the 23/24 season fills us with pride.
“As we come together for this partnership, we eagerly anticipate the footy-inspired fundraisers that’ll unfold during the season.
“Our shared goal with Bristol Rovers Community Trust to raise awareness and funds is a testament to our commitment to provide care for our local community.”
